After the flag ceremony the relay for life team got ready
for the actual relay event. First a stretch!

After the stretch they had a survivor
lap for those who have survived their bought with cancer. It was really moving,
I wish my friend Cheryl Rowe could have been walking that lap. I was moved to
tears hearing the amazing guy sing "I won't give up" and watching the
survivors do their lap!
This is one of my friends Dad. You can see us in the background!
It wasn't all fun the girls did some
work and help set up memorial lanterns or Luminary bags.

After the work they had some more fun. Bella had to take a picture with all the mascots there!
