Coronado Beach - 13 June

On Wednesday the 13th we went to Coronado beach with my friend Kayoko.

The kids were getting cold so I told them to bury them self's in the sand and they would warm up a bit. They were skeptical at first but then got into it!

and the beach is no fun for little kid unless you eat a little sand

Ruben H Fleet Science Center -12 Jun 2012

On Tuesday the 12th We (the kids, Kayoko and I)  visited Balboa Park. In this amazing park, there is many,  many Museums! There is an art village there that the kids loved! What was really neat is that I had been there before. We (Evan and I)lived in San Diego, and his family came for visit and we had taken them there. So I had remembered it , and it was really neat to see them enjoying it!

 So after the Art Village, we headed on over to the Science museum across the street. 

Kayoko had stopped and I turned to see why and she was taking a picture of this tree. 

I was amazed that I had just walked by and not noticed how amazing this tree was! 

 So we headed into the Science Museum, and it was great!!! 

They had a special area set up just for kids. 

The area is called Kids city! 

Here are the kids in the fire station area.
 The kids hopped in the driver's seat of the fire truck,
and turn multiple levers to mimic the knobs found on a real fire truck.  

They had a little computer station set up with educational games

This is the ball wall. It has Multiple chutes, tracks, and moving objects, for the balls to go through.
The kids got to explore the physics of movement and cause and effect
as they turn various cranks for different reactions.

Owen loved running back and forth pushing his grocery cart!

This was the Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body exhibit
