My dad has recently had a hard deck of cards handed to him. My cousin who he lived with for the past two years, turned on him, kicked him out of her house, shut off his social security and closed his bank account. All while he was in the hospital with pneumonia and preventing a heart attack. She was his payee so she had full access to his account. So basically left him homeless and with out any money.
While he was in the hospital he came to find out his kidney are in failure and will need to be put on dialysis. So need less to say he has not been in a happy mood.
He's come to live with me for time until he can start up his social security and get a place of his own. It's been a blessing because now since he's here in Fresno he can see all the right Doctors that he needs and be with his family that truly loves him.
Owen really loves him. I would say that Owen favors him out of all my family. My dad loves all his grandchildren, but Owen rally makes him smile. It's good to see him smiling.
I was trying to catch a moment where Owen crawled up into the couch and was snuggling my dad but by the time I got my camera out he moved already..... but the smile and love on my dad's face had not and I was able to capture that!
