On the 1st of Sep we had walked the kids to school. On the walk home we spotted this white puppy roaming the street. Twice she had almost got hit by a car so we went over befriended the puppy scooped her up and tried to return her to her home. No one was there so we (the kids and I decided to bring her over tour house for a while until her family came home to take care of the little pup)

They played together and such fun running around!

It was so great to see Gig playing like a puppy again!

The kids really got a kick out of having a "puppy" at our house

Here is Own chasing after the puppy, calling it saying "puupppeyyy"
He would get close enough to touch her, squeal and run off! Too cute!

After a while we took the puppy home.
She was yipping too much for me and making a mess getting dirty
It was fun to have a puppy come play but I'm glad we don't have a puppy!

26 Aug - PInkalicious pancakes

26 Aug- We first tried out our Pink pancakes from Deceptively Delicious and we love them!

Especially the girls they say they are "Pinkalicious"! They are now a favorite in our home!

They have beets in them that's how the get the pink color and shredded apples.
That's the green looking thing in them

Yum!!!

22 Aug FHE picking the Nectering Tree

On 22 Aug We had a FHE night of Picking our Nectarine tree.

Our little tree was not cleaned out early enough so it produce these really small nectarines and LOTS of them!!

So many they filled our plastic pool

what are we going to do with all of these little Nectarines??

you can see the are the size of ping pong balls or large golf balls!

Surprisingly enough they didn't not taste bad. There was quite a few of them that were tasty and sweet. So we decide to make Jam out of them and freeze the rest! The Jam (Evan's first time making jam) came out great. He added some other fruit to it and it came our tasting kinda tropical like!

We look forward to next year to see if we can get out tree to produce bigger fruit!

20 Aug - A Fun filled Sat for Bella, Toria nd Jon!

20 Aug was a fun filled Sat for us!

Victoria had a Bridging ceremony for girls scouts.
She is now in her second year of being a daisy!

Bella Didn't want to go to the Girl Scout event
but gladly wanted to go to her friends Cheyenne's birthday party and had a blast!

Jonathan had a Cub scout super Saturday

Here he is with all the things he made.
A tool box and coaster holder with coaster and a trivet.

Here he is in his first Rain gutter regatta

and they are off....

Jon is in the lead!

traditionally he should have been blowing with his mouth, but the fan makes the races go a little faster!

The winner!!! Her did well in the first leg of the race but didn't do to well later on.

He had a great time

It also rained a bit that day later in the afternoon after the small storm passed it left a pleasant surprise for us

You can barley see it in the picture but it was truly an amazing sight
a first for me to see a double rainbow so bold and bright and colorful!

17 Aug - getting into the football spirt

17 Aug was the first day Joshua brought home his foot ball gear. So of course we had to bust out the camera and take some candid pictures and some fun shots!
